the nitty gritty.

i’m sitting here waiting for my phone to ring. therefore i’m  finding it hard to concentrate on uni work. therefore, i think i’m going to write a few (5) questions for each Dave and Gordon.

Dave:

1. for as long as i’ve known you, you’ve wanted to work with children. what drives you to do that?

2. for some unknown reason, you’re on death row. what would your final meal be?

3. you’ve got a year free and a budget of £3,000. what do you do with it?

4. which piece of art (visual, prose, poetry, music, film) resonates the most with you, and why?

5. if you had to do something today which scared you, what would you do. (and i mean scared, like out-of-your-comfort-zone scary. not neccesarily adrenaline-high scary.)

Gordon:

1. if we were to go for that coffee, what would i recognise of my old friend and what’s changed?

2. whats the best conversation you’ve had with an unlikely person, how did it start and what did you take from it?

3. when were you the most scared?

4. if you had to chose ten tracks to create a soundtrack to your life (so, from birth to this moment) which would they be?

5. if you had a box in your possesion with the following things in it: a tube of UHU glue, some glitter (green, purple and silver colours), eight sheets of card (2 each black, white, grey, orange) 2 balls of wool (variegated colours, basic colour schemes: blue and yellow) a pair of ambidextrous scissors, some googly eyes, a polystyrene cup and a pair of beige (new, unused) tights, what would you do with it? (you can use as much or little as you’d like…)

right. now that i’m just wasting time…

  1. Nodders says:

Excellent, excellent stuff – I have ideas for answers forming in my brain already. As both Dave and Keir have posed me questions, I think I’m going to mix and match so that no one is left waiting to find out their answers.

  2. Davus says:

Good questions, will be answering them on me blog shortly.

  3. Dave says:

those questions were for me right? cos some other dave has said hes answering them soon……. and ive just came on t say ive spent a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time thinking about my answers and have just put them up on my blog.

    im confused now!

  4. Nodders says:

Suzi – it’s probably best if you never qualify who exactly these questions were for; just be glad they had have gone twice the distance.

  5. Davus says:

Yeah, my bad that one. Still, flattering to get double responses, no?

  6. Dave says:

haha, if they matched us both then why not?!?

  7. suz says:

    well, absolutely.
they were for both of you…(er..) both of the daves in my life… :) i’m glad they worked for you both!
i’ve enjoyed reading both sets of answers, so its all good…
